Meet Sandy Thomas, the heart behind the wheel at Driving Miss Daisy, in the picturesque Kinglake Ranges.

Sandy has been living in Kinglake West for over 20 years and has spent many years working in Aged care. Sandy read about Driving Miss Daisy and immediately recognised a need in her community and surrounding communities for this service.

Sandy would love to assist you, a loved one, or family member; by taking you to an appointment, lunch, shopping, or maybe even for a surprise ‘mystery tour’? Whatever your need is, Driving Miss Daisy Kinglake is here to help and have a bit of fun along the way. Sandy will not only take you to an appointment, but can wait with you, and bring you safely home to your front door.

For your peace of mind, Sandy is vetted by the Australian Police, is First Aid and Friends of Dementia trained, approved for Working with Children, and holds all the required Small Passenger Vehicle Licenses and special rideshare insurance.

After you submit your feedback, it will be forwarded to your local Driving Miss Daisy and, unless you have elected to remain anonymous, we will use your email address so that:

You will receive an auto-reply email confirmation.
Within 5 working days, a personalised email will be sent to you acknowledging your compliment, general feedback or complaint and giving more information about what will happen next.
We will aim to provide you an outcome of the investigations within 45 days unless that time is extended to collect information from others.

If your matter is complex it might take longer to provide you with an outcome. If this is the case, an interim response may be provided to you. If you did not provide an email address, we will attempt to contact you using the other feedback information you have given to us.
