Welcome to Driving Miss Daisy Nelson Bay. The owners, Andrew and Julie, love living and working in the Bay!

We are passionate about providing the highest level of service to our clients. We love the privilege of being family when family can’t be there, and are so thankful that we can support all our clients in sustaining their independence, provide companionship and facilitate their connection to family, friends and community.

Our service stands apart from taxis and other kerb to kerb vehicles. We collect you from your door, help you to the car and support you with your errands and appointments.

We are vetted by the Australian Police, are First Aid and Friends of Dementia trained, Working with Children checked (WWCC), have NDIS worker clearance and hold a Small Passenger Vehicle License giving you and your family peace of mind.

Driving Miss Daisy itself provides detailed operations manuals and applies stringent work health safety standards with particular emphasis on compliance with the COVID guidelines.

Within 5 working days, a personalised email will be sent to you acknowledging your compliment, general feedback or complaint and giving more information about what will happen next.
We will aim to provide you an outcome of the investigations within 45 days unless that time is extended to collect information from others.

If your matter is complex it might take longer to provide you with an outcome. If this is the case, an interim response may be provided to you. If you did not provide an email address, we will attempt to contact you using the other feedback information you have given to us.

Driving Miss Daisy Nelson Bay day trip to Blackbutt Reserve

Driving Miss Daisy is far more than just a Driving Service.

Recently, Driving Miss Daisy Nelson Bay took a client out for a day trip and picnic to Blackbutt Reserve.

They walked along the boardwalk and enjoyed looking at the various enclosures, learning about some of our native animals and trying to find the ones that were hiding. Phone cameras and video were great to capture some of the beauty on the day and watch it later in the week.

The Peacocks kept interrupting their picnic lunch. They even had the nerve to perch...

Driving Miss Daisy acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledges their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
