Hello, we’re David and Leeann — and becoming Driving Miss Daisy companion drivers is something that truly comes from the heart. After seeing firsthand how much support, kindness, and reliable transport can mean to ageing family members and loved ones, we felt called to step into a role where we could make a genuine difference in people’s everyday lives.

David brings many years of experience in security management and support work, along with several years of Uber driving. Leeann has a strong customer service background, with over 20 years in retail management. Together, we combine practical skills with a shared passion for helping others feel safe, supported, and valued.

We know that a trip to the doctor, the shops, or a social outing is often about far more than simply getting from A to B. It’s about staying connected, maintaining independence, and enjoying meaningful moments along the way. That’s why we’re committed to offering a warm, friendly, and respectful service where every client is treated like family.

Our goal is to make each journey comfortable, safe, and enjoyable — with genuine companionship included. Whether it’s a medical appointment, grocery shopping, or simply getting out for a coffee and a chat, we’re here to help make life a little easier and a lot more connected.

Our personalised companion driving service goes well beyond transport. We can accompany you on trips to your local shops, help find the best weekly specials, carry your bags, and even unpack your groceries once you’re home. If it’s raining or too hot, we’ll meet you at the door with an umbrella. Whatever support you need, we’re right there with you until you’re safely home again.

For your peace of mind, all our companion drivers hold national police checks, Working With Children Checks, First Aid and CPR training, Friends of Dementia and Hidden Disabilities training, and all required QLD accreditations and insurances.

Our range of services is designed to support independence at every stage of life. As part of the national Driving Miss Daisy family, our mission is simple: to help you maintain your own independence with confidence.

The purpose of this form is to collect information and, if requested, respond to you.

After you submit your feedback, it will be forwarded to your local Driving Miss Daisy and, unless you have elected to remain anonymous, we will use your email address so that:

You will receive an auto-reply email confirmation.
Within 5 working days, a personalised email will be sent to you acknowledging your compliment, general feedback or complaint and giving more information about what will happen next.
We will aim to provide you an outcome of the investigations within 45 days unless that time is extended to collect information from others.

If your matter is complex it might take longer to provide you with an outcome. If this is the case, an interim response may be provided to you. If you did not provide an email address, we will attempt to contact you using the other feedback information you have given to us.
