Our companion drivers support residents with medical and specialist appointments, regular GP visits, pharmacy trips, social outings, shopping, family visits and even simple pleasures like a coffee or scenic drive. We assist with mobility, help residents into appointments, carry shopping and stay with them until they are safely settled. For facilities, this means residents maintain their lifestyle with confidence, while care teams and families know they are fully supported.
You can rely on Driving Miss Daisy providing consistent, caring support from trained and police-checked companion drivers who understand the needs of residents. We build genuine relationships with residents, providing familiar faces and trusted companionship that makes every outing more enjoyable.
Our pricing is affordable and comparable to taxis or limousines, but with the added Daisy care along the way. If residents qualify for aged care funding, our pricing is in accordance with the Support at Home Program care plans. We can provide reports and invoice providers directly. Each journey is individually quoted by the Daisy franchise to suit the unique needs of your facility and each resident.
All franchise owners and companion drivers are fully screened, holding police checks, First Aid certification, and Commercial Passenger Vehicle Licenses. They also receive training in dementia awareness, sight and hearing impairment, and supporting vulnerable individuals. This ensures every participant enjoys a safe, inclusive and caring experience, with support tailored to their unique needs.
